Review: Near legendary status of vitamin D

Medscape has posted a review by researchers at West Virginia University, in Morgantown.

Here’s what we know.

• The article reviews the evidence for a role of vitamin D in bone health, diabetes, and cancer.

Most interesting is the diagram showing the metabolic pathway of vitamin D activation. The terms shown in the diagram are often discussed, but here we see their relationship to each other.
