Since my background is in pharmacy and allopathic medicine, I view all CAM as advancing through the development pipeline to eventually become integrated into mainstream medical practice.     Curcumin to treat gingivitis

    Periodontal disease in kids who smoke pot

    Periodontal disease is a gum disease (such as periodontitis or gingivitis) that, if untreated, inflames and eventually destroys the bone and tissues that support and anchor the teeth.

    Cannabis smoking is a risk factor for periodontal disease, according to this study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association. (more…)
