March is National Nutrition Month

The American Dietetic Association (ADA) would like all Americans to take time during National Nutrition Month to look at their eating patterns and begin to make the small improvements that, over time, add up to significant health benefits.

“Splash some color on your plate!”

The theme for the month is “Eat Right with Color.” According to the ADA, “it’s an easy way to focus on improving eating habits — simply include plenty of color on your plate!”

The bottom line?

If everything on your plate is brown, your diet needs a correction.

Brown fired meat (chicken, fish, etc), brown fries, and brown gravy is a dead givaway that your doing something wrong. Start with green for salad.
