More positive data on the Mediterranean diet for impotence

In an earlier post, the positive effect of the Mediterranean diet on erectile dysfunction in men with the metabolic syndrome was discussed. Now, another positive study has appeared.

Among 35 men with the metabolic syndrome who followed the Mediterranean diet, 37% achieved International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) scores of at least 22. By comparison, only 7% of men who did not follow the diet rated this high. A score below 21 indicates dysfunction.
