Financial support for research training and career development in CAM

The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) offers research training and career development awards for those seeking a career in CAM research.

Drs. Partap Khalsa and Nancy Pearson from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland have published an article describing the opportunities.

In addition, the National Institutes of Health website describes funding opportunities to support “outstanding advanced postdoctoral research scientists during their transition to independence.” The award supports up to 1 year of postdoctoral research training and 3 years of research as an independent investigator.
